Add an Adapter to an Existing Team

You can add an adapter to an existing team at any time. Teams can contain up to eight adapters.

NOTE: In Dynamic 802.3ad teams, changing the configuration might temporarily interrupt the traffic flow as the switch recalculates link aggregators.

NOTE: When you add an adapter to a team, the adapter loses its VLAN associations. You must re-create any VLANs that you want to add to the team. Additionally, the adapter loses any open interfaces (such as an IP address that has been assigned to it) when it is added to a team.

To add an adapter to an existing team in Intel® PROSet:

1. In the Network Component Tree, right-click a Team Listing.

2. Click Add Adapter to Team, then select the adapter you want to add.

3. Click Apply.

The adapter is now part of the team.
