The Intel® PROSet for Linux* software displays general information about network components. Network components include network adapters, teams, and VLANs. Using the software, you can change the network settings and view details for these components.
On the left side of the Intel PROSet window, the Network Component Tree lists the components available. When you select a component in the tree, tabs appear on the right side of the window.
For each type of adapter, a set of tabs specific to the adapter type are displayed. For example, if you select an Intel PRO/1000 Desktop Adapter in the Network Component Tree, the General tab appears. Clicking this tab displays basic adapter information. If you select another type of adapter, the tabs are named and arranged differently to take advantage of the specific adapter features.
