Save configuration to a file

You can save your Intel® PROSet teaming and VLAN configuration to a file and restore it back to Intel PROSet at a later time.

NOTE: Saving an Intel PROSet configuration does not save operating system-specific network settings such as an IP address or bound protocols.

NOTE: You can save the configuration file once or multiple times. The default file name is /etc/procfgd/saved_conf.procfgd. The file must be saved to /etc/procfgd or any subdirectory under this location.

To save Intel PROSet configuration:

  1. From the Tools menu, click Save/Restore Configuration.
    The Save/Restore dialog box appears.

  2. Click Save.
The Save As dialog box appears.

  3. Browse to the folder where you would like to save your configuration file then type a filename.

  4. Click Save.

  5. Click OK.

The Intel PROSet configuration is saved.
